System Requirements
Before proceeding with the installation of your KODAK 1500 Camera, first verify that your computer meets all System Requirements.
• CPU: Intel Pentium IV, 1.8 GHz or higher
• RAM: 512 MB
• Graphics Card: 32 MB (1 GB RAM for Windows Vista Ultimate, 32 bits)
• Other Drives: DVD drive
• Monitor: Standard CRT/LCD monitor, minimum of 1024 x 768 screen resolution
• Video Board: Direct X 9.0c Supporting Video Board
• USB 2.0 High-Speed Ports
• One of the following operating systems:
-Windows 2000 sp4
-Windows XP SP2/SP3
-Windows Vista Ultimate, 32 bits version
Connecting to a Computer
1. Connect the computer’s USB cable into the docking station’s USB port. Click here for more detailed instructions about connecting the docking station.
2. Insert the battery or cable into the camera.
3. Connect the camera to the front of the docking station. Click here for more detailed instructions about connecting the camera.
4. Press the power on button for three seconds to turn the camera on.
5. Install KODAK Dental Imaging Software to begin manipulating, labeling, and storing images on your computer.
Connecting to a Video Monitor
1. Locate the video monitor switch on the bottom of the docking station.
2. Select the correct video cable (VGA, S-Video, or AV-out) and connect it to the docking station. Click here for more detailed instructions on connecting the docking station.
3. Insert the SD card into the docking station to store your images.
4. Insert the battery or cable into the camera.
5. Connect the camera to the front of the docking station. Click here for more detailed instructions on connecting the camera.
6. Press the power on button for three seconds to turn the camera on.
